About volunteering as a Prayer Partner
A Short History about being a Prayer Partner
In April 2008, 16 years ago, Jesus asked Brother to nurture His new Interfaith Franciscan Community (The Tau Community of Saint Francis) at the tomb of Saint Francis of Assisi. The vision was to welcome Brothers and Sisters from all faiths to unite online for daily prayers for global unity and peace. In 2016, Brother was led by Mother Earth to include praying for climate change and for all whose lives have been impacted by climate change.
On January 2020, Brother was inspired by Jesus in prayer to create a new role for our Tau members to volunteer as one of God’s Prayer Partners on earth. The rationale behind this invitation is to hold in our online daily Morning and Evening prayer God’s family, all members of the Mystical Body of God, who are suffering and struggling in mind-body and spirit.
During Prayer, the Holy Spirit leads Brother in a gentle healing meditation empowering our Prayer Partners to self heal and reclaim their divinity as a co creator of God. Prayers conclude where we are invited to share the Christ Light within our soul and the smile of God to those whom we meet on the journey.
The joy of being invited by Jesus to volunteer as one of God’s Prayer Partners is an act of faith in a loving God who calls us by our name to surrender our heart to the Messianic Jesus in service for those who are vulnerable and or marginalised by society. As a Prayer Partner for God we are inspired by Jesus not to sit in judgement on a brother or sister whose values we do not share in our service to God.
Volunteering as a Prayer Partner for God, we are encouraged by the Holy Spirit to say the Mantra to Jesus,” Lord, here I am, I come to be with you but Lord will you show me how I may serve you and glorify your loving Father on earth as a volunteer Prayer Partner.” In our commitment to God as a Prayer Partner, Jesus reminds us that we are “Royalty in His Father’s Kingdom.|
